Brazil is SUEZ Energy International´s main center of operations in Latin
America. Through Tractebel Energia, SUEZ is the largest private generator in the country, with around 8% of the Brazilian total generation assets. With
an installed capacity of 7,046 MW in operation, Tractebel Energia sells power to around
100 clients, mainly large industries and distribution companies, through medium and long-term contracts.
The energy produced by Tractebel Energia can access almost all Brazilian
families and industries, through an interconnected national transmission
grid covering most part of the country.
