Through its EnerSur subsidiary, SUEZ Energy International is Peru's second largest private power producer. EnerSur sells electricity under a long-term contract to its major customer Southern Peru Copper Corporation, as well as to a number of other industrial customers and distribution companies.
SUEZ has an 8% share in the company TGP (Transportadora de Gas del Perú),
which operates a pipeline to transport natural gas and liquids from gas fields in the Camisea
region of Peru to the Peruvian capital Lima and to the port of Pisco.
