SUEZ Energy International's Human Resources function aims to keep our staff motivated in the face of change, and to encourage them to embrace new working practices and ideas.

Our matrix organisation is one of the company's strengths, offering a framework for efficiency and motivation.

We run training, support and development programmes for staff often in collaboration with the SUEZ University, and employees are encouraged to set up networks and to exchange skills and know-how. This facilitates the transfer of experience between organisations in different regions, and the development of benchmarks and models of best practice.

People development remains a high priority for us. Departmental heads have regular six-monthly meetings to appraise their staff, assess their potential and identify opportunities for career development.
