Louis Martens occupe la function de GDF SUEZ Energy International’s Chief Financial Officer.

Né en Autriche en 1962, il obtient son diplôme d’ingénieur commercial à la Solvay Business School à Bruxelles, en 1985.  Il suit également le programme General Management CEDEP à l’INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

Il entame sa carrière chez Fortis Banque, dans l’International Credits et le Corporate and Investment Banking.
Il joint le groupe GDF SUEZ en 1997, au département Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory (AI&FA, formerly Corporate & Project Finance) où il occupe ses positions à Paris, Bruxelles et Houston. Avant de joindre GDF SUEZ Energy International, il était Deputy Head of AI&FA.

Louis Martens a rejoint GDF SUEZ Energy International le 1er août 2008.
